What would you do if you were being haunted by spooks? Why, call the Ghostchasers! Harriet Hollyhock's plane is forced to land due to a storm, giving her a chance to visit her renowned cousin, Dr. Horace Roy, who operates an asylum for excessively nervous patients. But things aren't "normal" at the institution. A poltergeist has been freed by an earthquake jolt. The Ghostchasers are called and Honcho and his zany crew warm up by rocking to the funky "Ghostchasers' Rap." But if the nasty ghost wasn't trouble enough, the patients have locked up the staff, and no one can tell who's who. The roles and music are as much of a romp for the cast as they are for the audience. Some optional "special ghost effects" are included in the script and on the Production/ Rehearsal Tape. (Also available as a non-musical.)
